According to a saying of the Prophet of Islam (PBUH), Allah, the Exalted, said: ‘Spend, O son of Adam, and I shall spend on you.’”(Al-Bukhari and Muslim). Among the infinite spiritual benefits of charity, psychologically and sociologically charity is the true revolution humankind needs. What greater pleasure than to become the light to the darkest of lives? Mr Amjad, a 52 years old man, has struggled his whole life in order to provide the best possible food and education to his children. He has worked as a skilled worker for the past 20 years. Now due to an accident, he has lost mobility in his right foot due to which he is unable to work any longer. However, his ambitions did not lose any strength due to this incident. For the past 5 years, he now works at his own grocery store. Unfortunately, the extreme inflation following COVID-19 has affected his business badly and he now needs some external aid in order to cover this financial dip.
