Atiq ul Rehman has worked as a labor in a mill for 21 years. He has raised up his 4 children with great difficulty as his income, which is currently only Rs. 16,000 per month, was never enough. Savings had always been out of the question as even being able to manage expenses was a big deal. Despite poverty, he managed to educate his children. His 20-year-old son works as a helper in the mill and earns Rs. 17,000. Atiq's daughters, aged 16, 14, and 12 are attending a private school. Atiq also supports his old mother and till a few years ago was the sole bread earner of his family. 

6 months ago, Atiq started selling popcorn to earn additional income. He does this on wages but now wants to start his own popcorn business. He thus needs a loan of $140 from Seed Out for his popcorn cart. He is highly hopeful this business will improve his family's financial situation. Moreover, the business is easy to manage after a hard day of labor at the mill.
