Farkhanda Saleem's story

The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall. Pakistan is filled with the greatest stories of families who fought against all odds in order to survive. These families were bestowed with the generational curse of poverty and it was their courage and determination that lead them out of it. Ms Farkhanda is yet another example of an iron lady who is ambitious to carve a better and brighter future for her children. Born in a poor household herself, she realises that her hard work can save her children and their generations to come from the pain of scarcity. SEED OUT just adds fuel to the burning determination of these families and hence, speeds up the process. This super mom of 4 has been juggling between jobs and businesses along side her husband to feed and educate her children. In the past 1 year, she has started her own clothing business and believes that this will prove to be a turning point for her family. All she needs now is a little financial push from her society in order to implement her ideas and expand her business.
