Suriyya Bibi is married to an elder man, whom at his age is incapable of working. Together, they have three daughters with whom they live with in a slum in Lahore. Two of the daughters go to school while the eldest is at the age of marriage. Suriyya Bibi and her husband have insufficient resources to even hold up their household expenses, which means that they are unable to provide their daughters’ basic necessities. Suriyya Bibi runs a small general store located in the slum, but as it turns out, it barely covers their family needs. As such, she has decided to expand the general store by applying for the Seed Out interest-free loan.
