Taj Muhammad is among our borrowers who are doing unique projects. For the past 25 years, Taj is a trader of green parrots. Being an expert in his field, he purchases birds from bird catchers from the areas of Bahawalnagar and sells it to wholesale buyers in nearby cities. His business was doing well previously, but because of personal financial problems, he had to sell out his business. With the few savings left, Taj invested in the education of his daughters and ensured that they are given a decent livelihood. Currently, Taj has less investment, and he is unable to cover household expenses. The prices of the birds also increased in the market, which did not go well for Taj's business. Therefore, Taj has requested a loan of $245 to increase the number of birds for sale. The loan will help him to buy more birds, and he also intends to buy a larger cage so that the birds don't suffer. He will also be able to sell more and eventually increase his income. He will save for his children’s education and cover household expenses with ease.
