Support a featured borrower with a microloan.
Muhammad Shafique is a 34-year-old father of four who lives with his family in a poor locality of Bahawalnagar. Shafique owns a small grocery store and earns a limited amount of income from it. The amount he earns is mostly spent on household expenses. Due to limited finances available, Shafique struggles to provide medical treatment for his sick mother and pay for his children's school fee. Shafique wishes to stock up more number of items in his grocery store but does not possess enough funds to expand it. Often times, Shafique is left with no other option but to take loans from his friends or relatives in order to fulfil his household expenses. Shafique has requested a loan of $175 to purchase additional items for his grocery store. Along with snack items, he plans to add sanitary products at his store. Shafique is confident that adding more stock will increase revenue and profit of the store. The loan will assist Shafique and his family to escape the burden of poverty. He will be able to provide proper medical treatment for his mother and his children will be able to continue school in future.
