Nargas Bibi is a thirty-seven years old illiterate woman who lives in Faisalabad, Pakistan. She lives in her own house with her four sons. Her husband lives in Bahrain where he is working as a police officer. They are separated for sometime now and her husband doesn’t support them financially after his second marriage. Her husband only sends ten thousand rupees per month for the children which is not enough to meet their needs. Nargas Bibi has to look after her children on her own. Her brother and sister help her financially in her difficult time. She belongs to a class where educating women is not considered a priority. Due to her illiteracy she is not able to get any decent job. But, her illiteracy and separation has not discouraged her but compelled her to stand for herself and her well being. Currently, she is jobless but has two years experience of selling clothes as she has helped her sister in her clothes business. She does not want to be dependent over her siblings for the rest of her life. She wants to start her business of selling clothes. For this purpose, she needs money to buy different variety of clothes. In this difficult time, she has asked for help from Seed Out. The donations collected through the platform of crowdfunding will assist Nargas Bibi to start her business of clothing.
