Muhammad Shafiq is a 48-year-old man from Faisalabad who alone is taking care of his family. The general store he runs is the only means of sustenance for himself, his wife, and his 5 children. He has 2 daughters and 3 sons. The younger sons go to a government school whereas the eldest helps his father at the store.
The future of his children depends solely on how well the store runs. Unfortunately, the store does not have sufficient stock. Shafiq does not have any savings to reinvest in the business.
