"Those who spend their wealth in Allah's way by night and by day, secretly and publicly — they will have their reward with their Lord." — Quran 2:274Muhammad Saleem, 53 years of age, is the head of a large famliy of eleven, including his wife, six sons and three daughters. Two of his sons and one of his daughters are married, and the rest of the family lives in a small home in Lahore that is owned by Muhammad. He is presently employed at Super Asia, an electronics manufacturing company that specialises in home applications, where he has been involved in work for nearly 26 years. However, to supplement his income from his salaried job, he has also been working as a rickshaw driver for the past two years. Muhammad is in the difficult position of being unable to gather enough capital to buy his own rickshaw. He believes that his coming into possession of his own personal rickshaw, instead of just using one on rent, will not only decrease his expenses and maximize profits manifold, but will also give him the confidence to expand his operations. For this purpose, Muhammad requires a small loan from generous donors, and a crowd funding program would be highly beneficial for his cause.
