Muhammad Ahmad wants to provide well for his wife and two young children. His daughter is 2 years old and his son is just 4 months old. Ahmad does two jobs. He is a paint master and side by side runs a clothing business.He has a stall of used clothes which he sells in a second-hand items market. He warns around Rs. 15,000 from his painting work. The garment business is a supplement to his income and he is currently operating it at a very small scale. He earns around Rs. 4500 from this stall.
His business has been negatively affected by the lockdown. When the markets were closed, he could not carry out his business. He has gradually run out of inventory as he was not able to invest in the business due to decreased income during the lockdown. Ahmad wants to grow his garments business. He needs a loan of $245 to add more stock.
