Shahid Mehmood is the sole bread-earner for his family. He has a wife, 2 young children, and his old parents to look after. Shahid is a poor man trying extremely hard to make ends meet. He earns a very nominal amount not enough to meet basic needs. Despite this, education is his topmost priority and he wants to save for his children's studies. He has a daughter and a son who are in prep and nursery respectively. Shahid sends them to a private school. As his livelihood, he runs a small sales business of various edible items such as crisps, biscuits and Nimko etc. Shahid's already fragile business was badly affected by the lockdown and he is almost out of stock now.
