Maqbool Ahmad is 55-years-old. He belongs to the community of yarn knitters in Faisalabad and has been engaged in yarn knitting and spinning for the past 40 years. Maqbool and his wife both are illiterate. They have 6 children; 5 sons and 1 daughter, who are all grown up. Maqbool also has 2 grandsons. His sons work with him in the trade of yarn knitting whereas one son works at a mill. The family earns around Rs. 25000 from their business.
