Beauty Parlor

Babra need a loan of $280 A loan of $280 helps to expand a beauty parlor.

"Those who spend their wealth in Allah's way by night and by day, secretly and publicly — they will have their reward with their Lord." — Quran 2:274

36-year-old Babra from Gujranwala is a widow. She had a relatively comfortable life with her husband. She was passionate about providing beautician services and used to run a small parlor in the vicinity of her house. Her husband's death, however, devastated Babra and her 3 young children. After her husband's death, her in-laws sold the house that Babra was living in. She had to quit her parlor as well as the house was sold off and started living in a rented house near where her mother lived. Babra has no finances at this point in her life. She immediately started looking for work and soon found employment in a salon. The salary she receives is inadequate to bring up her children. Babra is raising her children all alone. Her son Adeel, only 15 years old, had to quit his school and started working in order to bring in some money to support his mother and younger sister and brother. Babra is a skilled beautician with 12 years of experience. Her neighbors love her work and want to support her in her business. Babra knows there is no survival in working at someone's parlor and wants to start her own. She has requested a loan of $280 from Seed Out to open her parlor. We are earnestly eager to help Babra stand on her own feet and for this, we need your generous donation.
