Now that Shahban is 55, his elder 2 sons help their father in the business whereas the younger 2 children go to school. The 6-person family lives in a small house in Lahore. Shahban has been working since 20 years, and has worked as a laborer and as a salesperson in a video shop. In 2013, he started his business of packing and selling spices. The survival of the family solely depends on the spice business but unfortunately, Shahban only has Rs.10,000 worth of stock left and it is greatly worrying him.
