Muhammad Nadeem, a young and strong-willed micro-entrepreneur from Bahawalnagar, struggles to earn a sufficient income that can fulfill his family’s needs. Driving an old auto-rickshaw around did not help him much financially. With little investment, he started a small grocery store outside his home but it did not do well and had to be shut down. Nadeem faced dire financial and personal issues during this time. Nadeem’s father had to retire early from his government job due to failing health. Suddenly, the responsibility of the household fell upon Nadeem’s shoulders and his current income does not allow him to meet expenditures. His father’s pension brings little ease to their financial problems. Nadeem is known as a humble boy in the community who is taking care of his old parents alone.
