Yarn Knitting (Waan Bunai)

Nasreen bibi need a loan of $280 A loan of $280 helps to expand a yarn knitting business.

"Those who spend their wealth in Allah's way by night and by day, secretly and publicly — they will have their reward with their Lord." — Quran 2:274

39-year-old Nasreen Bibi is a hard-working woman. Not only has she brought up 5 children, but also stood side by side with her husband in trying to earn an income. Nasreen Bibi has been doing yarn knitting for as far as she can remember. According to her, she has dedicated 25 years of her life to this profession. Her husband helps her in knitting the yarn and also selling it in the market. Both of them are illiterate, but they have used the fruit of their labor to educate all their five children. They have 3 daughters and 2 sons. The elder daughters have completed their education and Nasreen and her husband soon want to get them married to suitable partners. The younger three children are still in school.

Nasreen took a loan from Seed Out and was very happy with the way it allowed her to expand her business. Satisfied with her experience, she feels encouraged to get the loan again. Further expanding the business will allow them to do savings and fulfill their children's need to the best of their abilities. Nasreen has requested a loan of $280 from Seed Out to further expand the business. We are proud of the way this family is trying to step out of poverty and improve life for generations to come. To help bring a family out of poverty, please donate to Nareen.
