Ghafooran Bibi need a loan of $175 A loan of $175 helps to expand a grocery store.

"Those who spend their wealth in Allah's way by night and by day, secretly and publicly — they will have their reward with their Lord." — Quran 2:274
Ghafooran Bibi, a 40-year-old mother of 4 young children, is going through desperate times in her life. Ghafooran manages a poverty-ridden household with determination by running a small grocery store on her own and also by managing her household chores properly. Ghafooran runs a very small grocery store with only a few items to sell and there are days when her earnings remain zero. It is also depressing to see Ghafooran's sons, 13-year-old, Kashif and 10-year-old, Rashid working at a very tender age just because their parents can't afford to send them to school. Both of them are working in different places in order to fulfil the household needs. Moreover, Ghafooran's husband, Maqbool, works as a cook and his earnings are insufficient to run a household. Despite most of the family members working, their household income remains low. Ghafooran's story is a very sad case of people suffering in extreme poverty. Ghafooran reached out to Seed Out's Bahawalnagar office in order to seek help. She has requested a micro-loan of $175 to expand her grocery store. She intends to buy more stock for her store to sell to different customers. Her sales will increase leading to better profits. Her household condition will eventually start to improve and they will be able to escape poverty in future.
