Mr Mazhar, a 26-year-old man, married but with no children yet, bears the responsibilities of his family solely. With seven family members depending majorly on him, he has been battling poverty for most of his life. For 14 years, he rode a donkey cart as a means of earning before switching to driving a rented loader rickshaw for the past three years. Despite his hard work, the high inflation rate makes it impossible for him to survive without owning the vehicle himself. The income he earns from the rickshaw is barely enough to provide for his family's basic needs, let alone save up for emergencies or invest in his business to create more opportunities.
