Nasreen's story

Some claim that women are weak by birth. Then, allow us to introduce them to Ms Nasreen, a 56-year-old woman with a life struggle of 20-plus years. She made the decision to take charge when she saw that among the other deprivations, fate brought her, not being able to have children was just another one. Hence, she and her husband have lived a real-life love story where the climax is sheer poverty and constant financial struggle. Despite the fact that she herself lacks education, she is committed to becoming a self-sufficient member of society. Even more courageous is the fact that she supported her husband for the past 20 years by stitching people's clothes. Now for the past month, when age struck her like never before, and she saw her arriving incapability of stitching anymore, she started her own grocery store. This is the best illustration of how resilient a woman is and can be.
