Muhammad Akram has been working since his father’s death when he was a teenager, leaving him responsible to earn money along with his mother who worked door to door as a maid to pay the bills and provide shelter. Without any real skills, he was, by his own description, something of a drifter, unfocused and unproductive, not able to see a clear path foreword to financial security. With some help he learned to drive an auto rickshaw and started to drive a rented rickshaw. M.Akram approached multiple banks for the financing of an auto rickshaw, but the loan documentation and collateral demands were always too high. Now 24, they live in terrible conditions with a joint accommodation where 5 families live. It is overcrowded and not very clean. It was not until he came across Seedout that he has become hopeful for a good life. Help Akram raise $611 to purchase a rickshaw and live a respectable and dignified life. He wants to make enough money so that his mother doesn’t have to work as a maid anymore.
