Arfan Sarwar's story

Arfan Sarwar from Lahore is a man with a diverse skill set. He narrates how he has worked in a number of fields, but something that has also been consistent in all the various jobs he has done is hard work and the passion to learn.  Arfan started his career as a computer hardware repairman and did this for 4 years. He then worked as a data entry operator and for 11 years of his life, he worked as a Supervisor on a contract basis for projects of multiple companies including NADRA, Zong, UBL and HBL. Arfan was doing well and would have made a decent career had he continued, but life had something else in store. Unfortunately, Arfan's mother was diagnosed with a brain tumor and it became very difficult for him to continue his job. He had to compromise and resigned from his position. 

Arfan, since then, has been taking care of his mother and also paying for her medical expenses. Arfan had to do something to keep running the household and financially take care of his wife and his 2-year-old daughter, so he registered his bike on Uber and is giving Uber Bike rides to earn a basic level of income. Of course, what he earns is highly inadequate to meet expenses and can only be a temporary or part-time source of income. 

While his mother remains acutely sick, Irfan cannot take up a job. He is in a dire financial position and needs to do something about his income as urgently as possible. Irfan wants to start his own food business and has an excellent business plan in mind. Having his own business will give Irfan the freedom to set his own timings and give his mother time, something she needs the most at this stage of her life. For starting his food business, Irfan has requested a loan of $245 from Seed Out. He is highly excited that it is interest-free, which is a hue relief for him.
