31-year-old Sana Farhan from Lahore is supporting her husband in running the household as his income does not prove sufficient to meet the expenses of their 3 children, 2 of whom are of school-going age. For the past 6 years, Sana has been providing beautician services to the ladies in her neighborhood, but she does this informally as she never had the investment to have a proper beauty parlor. Seed Out’s training sessions have now inspired Sana to expand her business and we are extremely glad to see women taking action to emerge as successful micro-entrepreneurs. Full of hope, Sana has requested Seed Out for a loan of $263 in order to have a proper beauty set-up. This will hopefully earn her Rs. 20,000 monthly or even above and set the path for the family’s betterment. The increased income will be a great blessing for the family.
