Naeem Shahzad's story

Naeem Shahzad left behind his life as a farmer in Sheikhupura 5 years ago to come to Lahore in hopes of a better life financially. Naeem learned driving, got his license and started driving a motorcycle rickshaw to earn a living. His life has gotten better but his financial condition remains tight nonetheless. There are two major expenses that are a blow to his savings: his house rent and the rent of his rickshaw, which he has to pay daily. The rickshaw rent is an exorbitant Rs. 400 daily. Naeem could save so much more if he had his own rickshaw.

For Naeem, every penny he earns is of immense value. Naeem wants to get his own motorcycle rickshaw so he gets the full fruit of his daily effort. For this reason, he has requested a loan of $385 from Seed Out, from which he will buy a second-hand auto-rickshaw in good condition. No longer having to pay the daily rent, the extra income will make it much easier for Naeem to take care of his 3 growing up children, including his 1-year-old baby. Naeem is a proud father of three and has gotten his two older children admitted to a good school. To help Naeem keep seeing the smile of his children, please donate to Naeem and help him make the owner of his own motor-cycle rickshaw.
