Faisal Sheraz's story

Faisal Sheraz, a 27-year-old father of two, often loses hope when it comes to providing sufficient financial assistance to his family. A young man with the potential to achieve something big is unable to find a suitable opportunity to grow in the competitive city of Lahore. Previously working as a salesman for 9 years in the garments industry, he did not earn enough to support a family. His financial situation got extremely tensed after the birth of his second child. He was driving a rented auto rickshaw around that time but managing expenses in an expensive city like Lahore was tough. Most of the income he earned was spent on paying the rent of the rickshaw and the house in which he lived. Both, Faisal and his wife, Sumbal struggled to get finances in order to feed their infants and also cover the household expenses. Faisal then took up a job of a car driver where he started working for minimum wage. Currently, he is going through financial crisis as he is unemployed again and now wants to earn a stable income in order to provide a quality life to his children. Faisal has requested a loan from Seed Out’s crowd funding platform of $245 in order to buy an auto rickshaw. He has the potential to earn a considerable amount of income by driving his own auto rickshaw. He has reached Seed Out to ease his financial tensions and escape the poverty trap. He intends to spend the improved income on fulfilling his children’s needs. His daughter goes to a private school, he will be able to pay her school fees. His house rent, bills and other expenses will be covered with ease.
