Ms Tasleem is a 47 years old widow upon whose shoulders rest the responsibility of her 5 daughters, a son and a brother-in-law. She has stitched clothes for about 15 years to survive her circumstances. After which she shifted on to running her grocery store. She spent another 20 years of her life doing this business which was able to get her children primary education and feed them barely. Unfortunately, the failing economy of Pakistan made it impossible for her to continue her business and hence it hit bankruptcy.
