Our team visited Humaira Ashraf and found her very determined to start her own business. She sees her husband working very hard in a factory but despite the long hours that he puts in, the income is never enough to reduce the stress that comes from always being short of money. Humaira wishes to use all her energy for the betterment of her family. She works as an "Aya"/helper in a school. With this income, she pays the tuition fee of her children. Two of her children attend primary school and the third is a baby of just 7 months. Even though the children are very young, Huamira still manages to take care of them along with work. Now, Humaira wants to start sewing clothes for a living, along with continuing her current job.
