"Those who spend their wealth in Allah's way by night and by day, secretly and publicly — they will have their reward with their Lord." — Quran 2:274
Arif Ameen 33, is the sole breadwinner for his five children. Three daughters and a son are school going and a daughter is at home. His wife is a housewife who takes care of the young one at home while carrying out other household chores.Arif and his wife did not get the opportunity to obtain a formal education as both of their parents were not well off enough to pay for the education. They both grew up labouring. Arif hopes to change this cycle and therefore does his best to educate his children. He consistently uses his donkey to fetch and ferry goods to market and collection centres. Arif’s say that his life and his family’s revolves around the donkey cart. He is able to put food on the table through it and any day without it would mean hunger to his wife and children. The donkey cart is all they have got. He has a hard time collecting hay for the donkey as he does not own any land. Arif, therefore, wants to buy a rickshaw which he believes is an easy and respectable job then to carry a donkey cart. Your help can change his circumstances and he can fulfil his vision to educate his children.
