When Naheed Akhtar realized that their financial conditions were never going to improve with only her husband working as a laborer earning Rs. 15,000 per month, she decided to stand along with her husband in running the household, even though Naheed has three young children to look after, including a 2-year-old daughter. Although working along with taking care of a baby is quite exhausting, Naheed had no other option as their needs were not being met. It was 5 months ago that Naheed decided to open a grocery store near her home and earn for her children. Naheed used all her savings to buy stock, but unfortunately, they were not enough and she could buy a very limited amount. Naheed only has Rs. 6000-7000 worth of stock left in her store, and with this, the store does not have a future.
Naheed has used up her savings for the store and cannot let it close now. She urgently needs more stock and for this purpose, has requested a loan of $216 from Seed Out.
